Plan your Visit

We offer year-round rotating exhibits.  We also have a research and genealogy library that contains files on Douglas County people, obituaries, plat books, census information, cemetery books, and more.  Also be on the look out for our programs and events by visiting the "events" tab or following us on Facebook.

If you are a school group, daycare, club or other organization, you may schedule a tour and we can work out an age-appropriate visit and activity if you'd like for your group!  Contact us by phone at 217-253-2535 or email us at douglascountymuseum@hotmail.com
